Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Junk File Cleaner ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App
Junk File Cleaner provides utility features such as Junk Clean, Large Files, Screenshot cleanup, App Manager, App Process, Battery Info, Device Status, Notification Blocker, desktop widgets, language selection, rating prompts, and related settings.
You may use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
2. No Account Required
The current product scope does not require you to create an account. If a future version adds account features, these Terms and the Privacy Policy should be updated before release.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable app store rules.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or exploit the App except where permitted by applicable law.
4. Permissions and User Control
Some features require Android permissions or system settings, such as storage access, notification access, notification posting, battery optimization settings, media deletion authorization, or widget pinning. You may grant or deny these permissions through the Android system.
If you deny or close a required permission flow, the related feature may stop and return to the previous page.
5. Cleaning, Deleting, and Uninstalling
The App may help you identify junk files, large files, screenshots, apps, notifications, and other items that may be cleaned or managed.
You are responsible for reviewing selected items before confirming deletion, cleaning, uninstalling, or clearing. Some actions may be permanent or difficult to reverse, including:
- deleting selected files or screenshots;
- clearing selected notifications;
- uninstalling selected apps;
- changing Android system settings;
- removing widgets or changing notification behavior.
The App is designed to request user confirmation for sensitive actions where required, but you remain responsible for your choices.
6. Notification Blocker
If you enable Notification Blocker, the App may access notifications through Android notification access and may show a persistent Notification Blocker notification. The persistent notification may display notification counts, source app icons, and a Clean action.
You can disable Notification Blocker or individual app notification switches from the App or Android settings where available.
7. Desktop Widgets
The App may request the Android system to add a desktop widget. On supported launchers, Android may show a system add-widget confirmation dialog. If you add a widget, tapping it opens the App through the splash screen and then routes to the corresponding feature.
Widget availability and behavior may vary by device, Android version, and launcher.
8. Language Selection
The App may detect your device language and use English as a fallback when the device language is unsupported or unavailable. You may manually choose a supported language from the language entry. After a language is selected, the App may restart through the splash screen and return to the home page.
9. Ratings and Feedback
The App may show a rating prompt according to product rules or when you tap a user-initiated rating entry. If Google Play is available, the App may launch the Google Play review flow. Ratings and reviews submitted through Google Play are handled by Google Play.
10. Third-Party and System Services
The App may interact with Android system services and app store services for permissions, settings, widgets, file authorization, notification handling, app reviews, and similar platform features.
We are not responsible for third-party services, app stores, device manufacturers, launchers, or Android system components that we do not control.
11. No Warranty
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that:
- the App will identify every junk file or large file;
- cleaning will free a specific amount of storage;
- all device information will be accurate on every device;
- notification organization will work on every Android version or manufacturer skin;
- the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, apps, profits, revenue, goodwill, or device functionality arising from or related to your use of the App.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
13. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
- interfere with the App, Android system services, or other users' devices;
- attempt to bypass permissions, security controls, or platform restrictions;
- use the App in a way that violates applicable laws or app store rules.
14. Updates and Changes
We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Updates may add, change, or remove features. Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the App where permitted by law if you violate these Terms or use the App in a harmful or unlawful way.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction], except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
